I was dealing with arthritis and as a last resort and recommendation from my doctor, I tried yoga. I love the practice of yoga because it meets me right where I am. I also love the fact that yoga grows with me. With or without props, I always get exactly what I need.
Before trying yoga I thought it was for the young and flexible. I also thought it was all about the poses and twisting my body into a pretzel.
How do you define a “yoga body.”
A yoga body is a body that is open and willing to explore areas of strength and areas of weakness so that balance can be discovered. Yes, I identify my body as a YOGA BODY.
How are you Audacious?
I am audacious in my life as well as in my yoga practice because I know who I am and I’m not trying to be anyone else but me.
Advice for beginners?
I would say, bring a buddy along for the new adventure, ask for referrals, and do some research on finding a studio that is a good fit for YOU and YOUR needs.
